Home improvement loan for lower income city homeowners

0% Interest Rate - For up to 20 years!

What are the Program Features

• 0% interest rate
• No equity is required
• Loan terms up to 20 years
• Borrow up to $25,000 for a single unit home and up to $35,000 for a two unit home
• Grant for all lead hazard reduction work
• $800 grant available to repair or replace public sidewalk
• $3,000 grant available to make a home accessible for homeowners with disabilities
• Grant available for 50% of the cost of exterior home improvements (maximum $2,000)
• $300 processing fee can be financed with the loan

What are the Requirements?

• Home must be located in the City of Pittsburgh
• Borrower must own and occupy the home
• Home must have only 1 or 2 residential units
• Borrower's income must not exceed limits
• Borrower must be credit worthy
• Building code violations and lead based paint hazards must be corrected
• Work must be done by a professional general contractor who is certified to do lead based paint abatement.
