151 FIRST SIDE
Rising 18 stories above the Monongahela River, 151 First Side is the first new condominium constructed in the Pittsburgh Golden Triangle since 1968. [more]

AUGUST WILSON CENTER
The August Wilson Center for African American Culture is a 65,000 square foot state of the art cultural facility honoring the legacy of Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning playwright and Pittsburgh native August Wilson. [more]

MARKET SQUARE
The City of Pittsburgh Department of City Planning, URA and Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership combined forces to design and reconstruct the historic Downtown gathering space, Market Square, to serve as a more pedestrian friendly space with a focus on outdoor dining. [more]

MARKET SQUARE PLACE
Market Square Place is the historic renovation of the former G.C. Murphy building located on Market Square in Downtown Pittsburgh into a mixed use project of first class retail and loft-style apartments. [more]

GLASS LOFTS
The Glass Lofts, a mixed-use project that combines housing, commercial space and artist studios, is part of the 3.2-acre site developed as a community-based master plan. [more]

BEDFORD HILL HOMES
The Bedford Hill housing development provides affordable homeownership opportunities to low and moderate income families, and brings new construction to a historic neighborhood. This for-sale housing development is part of a larger housing development plan (Bedford HOPE VI) that includes approximately 350 rental units. [more]

CRAWFORD SQUARE
Crawford Square provides quality mixed-income housing in a friendly, pedestrian-oriented neighborhood to residents with a wide range of incomes. The project's street grid is an extension of the Hill District's streets that are stitched into the fabric of the existing community. [more]

THE LEGACY
The Legacy is the new construction of one and two bedroom apartment units for seniors age 62+, and serves as replacement housing for the now obsolete public housing site three blocks away. [more]

BEDFORD HILL HOPE VI
The Bedford/HOPE VI development recreates approximately thirty-four (34) city blocks. A traditional mixed-income neighborhood will be created through the construction of over 600 units of housing, both rental and for sale. [more]

WYLIE AVENUE HOMES
Wylie Avenue Homes is a 32-unit scattered site in-fill housing development that has been formulated as the first step in the implementation of the Middle Hill Housing Revitalization Plan. [more]

YMCA: CENTRE AVENUE
The proposed project includes both renovation of the YMCA’s existing Centre Avenue facility as well as the construction of a new full facility family branch and is a clear demonstration of the organizations continuing commitment to the Hill District community and the City of Pittsburgh. [more]

BUTLER STREET STREETFACE PROGRAM
The Streetface program has been a cornerstone of community revitalization work since 1984, when the Lawrenceville Corporation restored the Pennsylvania Bank Building to its former grandeur with Streetface support. That initial investment spurred the architecturally sensitive restoration of many commercial buildings and ultimately created a critical mass of attractive properties that improve the streetscape, increase property values, attract new businesses and draw shoppers to the neighborhood. Neighborhood: Marshall Shadeland
WASHBURN SQUARE
Absentee landlord property ownership led to a set of blighted rental housing units in the Northside neighborhood of Marshall Shadeland. The Brightwood Civics Group (BCG) partnered with the URA to devise a creative solution to a longstanding community concern. [more]

BENEFICIAL BUILDING
The Beneficial Building project was one driven by the local community development corporation. The building sat vacant for nearly twenty-five years, and was in a state of extreme disrepair. Partnership with the URA and other public financing agencies helped restore this historic property. [more]

EAST CARSON STREET STREETFACE PROGRAM
Since the programs inception in 1986, almost 200 storefronts along East Carson Street have been renovated with Streetface, generating $5.5 million of investment in facades alone. A local historic district, East Carson Street has been able to be mostly preserved, using Streetface as a primary tool for preservation projects. [more]

SOUTH SHORE RIVERFRONT PARK
The South Shore Riverfront Park project has an estimated price tag of $10.5 million, and will include a hotel, restaurant, residential buildings, trails, a boating tie-up facility, water access, interpretive signage and historic trail markers, that continue the Three Rivers Heritage Trail system and Great Allegheny Passage. OTTO MILK
The Otto Milk Factory was built around 1865 as the Phoenix Brewing Company, and served as a brewery for several decades before being used by the Otto Milk Company as a processing and storage facility. This redevelopment project mixes condominiums and retail. [more]
