Hill District Community Engagement Center Receptionist- Community Engagement Centers (CEC) 

 The University of Pittsburgh’s Community Engagement Center (CEC) in the Hill District is seeking a fulltime receptionist. This position will be responsible for the following duties: Providing a warm, welcoming reception to the visitors and users of the CEC, routing visitor and user requests to the appropriate CEC staff, supporting CEC staff in maintaining a well-functioning facility, and providing professional administrative support to the CEC Director.
 

Professional or familiar connections to Hill District is a plus. Incumbment must demonstrate the ability to manage the challenges of supporting a community-based center. He/she must be friendly, have excellent communication skills, and be able to function in an ever-changing environment. This position requires the completion of a High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience in an office secretarial setting. Must exhibit the highest level of customer service, exercise independent judgement, initiative, and complete tasks with accuracy. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions accurately and thoroughly. He/she must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent typing, professional oral and written communication skills, and fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English are required for this position.
