“Honestly, Invest PGH gave me the breathing room to keep moving. Without that, I don’t know if I’d be standing here right now. When someone says, ‘Yes, we believe in you,’ that’s fuel.”
The URA's Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) partner, InvestPGH, provided support to A Giving Heart in 2025 through the Childcare Reinvestment Business Fund (CRiB).
Founded by Kristee Cammack, the childcare center provides after-school programming, summer meals and community connections to meet the needs of Pittsburgh children and families. With the help of InvestPGH’s investment and training through Chatham University’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship, Cammack continues to grow her work and make a difference in the neighborhoods she serves.
