Meetings of the URA Board of Directors are held on the second Thursday of each month at 2:00 p.m in a hybrid setting. Changes to the agenda may be made prior to the meetings. 

Our Board

Public Comment Policy

Members of the public have the opportunity to provide comment on URA Board of Directors agenda items in one of the following formats: in-person, virtually via Zoom, or in writing. 

Registration is required to receive 3 minutes to provide in-person or virtual comments during the public meeting. Registration opens at 2:00 p.m. on the Tuesday before the regular meeting and closes at 1:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. The registration form will become available on this site at 2:00 p.m. the Tuesday before the board meeting. 

Written comments submitted before 1:00 p.m. the day of the meeting, and comments provided during the meeting, will become part of the public minutes and meeting record.

Regular Board Meeting Notice

The next hybrid Regular URA Board Meeting will occur on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. ET in the Lower Level Conference Room of 412 Boulevard of the Allies. Registration is not required to attend. Please email comms@ura.org if you require an accessibility accommodation.

 

Public Comment for Lower Hill Housing RFP and Lower Hill Development Fund Guidelines

During the March 12, 2026, Regular URA Board Meeting, staff announced a 30-day public notice of its plans to release a Request for Proposals for housing on a portion of the Lower Hill development site and presented draft guidelines for the Lower Hill Development Fund. 

The public comment period will close on Tuesday, April 7, at 1 p.m.

Public Comment for Commercial Facade Grant Program Guidelines

During the March 12, 2026, Regular URA Board Meeting, staff presented the draft Commercial Facade Grant Program guidelines. The program is intended to improve the physical appearance of commercial storefronts in Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods, as part of the Main and Main Initiative.
