In May 2019, the URA began offering a series of four workshops for small businesses and small developers who are interested in buying and redeveloping real estate. The final two workshops will take place in June at 412 Boulevard of the Allies, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.


Registration is required, along with a fee of $10 per session (per person). More information, here.

MWBE 'Chat & Chew' Workshop

On May 6, 2019, the MWBE Program Office and Rycon Construction hosted the first ‘Chat & Chew’ workshop of 2019. The workshop provided several local MWBE firms with an opportunity to learn about doing business with Rycon. Reid Cservak, Rycon’s Business Development Manager had this to say:

“The ‘Chat & Chew’ turned out great! I think everyone had a good time and it was very beneficial for all parties. It was the perfect number of people for everyone to be heard and meet one another."
