
URA Receives Excellence in Economic Development Award For East Liberty Station Transit Oriented Development

In September 2017, the URA won a Silver Excellence in Economic Development Award from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) for the East Liberty Station Transit Oriented Development (TOD) project in the category of Sustainable and Green Development. Executive Director Robert Rubinstein accepted the award on September 19 during the IEDC Annual Conference in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A round of applause goes out to the URA's Kryn Sausedo, Paul Alessio, Susheela Nemani-Stanger, Rebecca Davidson-Wagner, Tom Link, and Jennifer Breeze who helped to make this project happen.
