The Pittsburgh Housing Development Corporation (PHDC), the non-profit housing development affiliate of the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (URA), and the Hill Community Development Corporation (HCDC)will receive proposals from qualified Architecture & Engineering Firms (Consultants) to provide architectural design and engineering services for stabilization and rehabilitation of Eight publicly owned Single Family Attached Townhomes in the Bedford Dwellings Neighborhood of Pittsburgh, and improvement plans for 7 other privately owned units within the same block.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
The (Project Team), consisting of Pittsburgh Housing Development Corporation (PHDC) and Hill Community Development Corporation (HCDC), are the owners of 8 single family housing units on Bedford Avenue in the Bedford Dwellings Neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh. The Project Team would like to redevelop these underutilized properties into affordable for-sale housing units that will benefit residents and stabilize adjacent units within the 2700 block of Bedford Avenue. Located in the heart of Bedford Dwellings, this site has the potential to set the precedence for future blight remediation and rehabilitation efforts within the surrounding neighborhood.
