The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (URA) is requesting Design-Build Proposals from qualified contractors for the stabilization of one parcel (174-J-135) within the Homewood North neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh as part of the larger North Homewood Avenue Scattered Sites Predevelopment Activities ARPA project.

Scope of Service
The project involves structural repair and stabilization of the property at 710 N. Homewood Avenue. The work includes design and engineering services, permitting, mobilization, site security and fencing, selected demolition, asbestos abatement, roof repair, masonry wall reinforcement and reconstruction, and other necessary repairs to address water penetration, rot, and structural instability. The objective is to restore structural integrity of the building and ensure compliance with standards, codes, and regulations.
Timeline
- Pre-Bid Meeting: Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM (On Site)
- Due Date: Bids will be accepted no later than 2:00 PM prevailing time on Friday, October 25, 2024
