Kudos!
- Congrats to Module on completing its first home in Pittsburgh!
Module is a Pittsburgh-based technology startup that designs adaptable housing that changes as a buyer’s needs do. Through Module’s platform, homebuyers can add additions to their home as their needs change, meaning a one-bedroom starter unit can be turned into a three-bedroom house.
Tours of the house are available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Module worked with URA's Karlee Turkaly to receive a $100,000 Pittsburgh Entrepreneur Fund loan for working capital.

- Congrats to Astrobotic Technology for being awarded a $79.5 million contract to deliver 14 NASA payloads to the moon. Astrobotic has worked with URA's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to receive loans for working capital.
- Congrats to Andre Young of Chatman Properties on receiving the Volunteer of the Year Award at the Clean Pittsburgh Commission's Annual Meet N Greet Mixer! Young is a URA LandCare contractor.
- Congratulations to the winners of the 2019 NAIOP Pittsburgh Awards, including The Mosites Company as “Driver of Development,” Oxford Development Company’s Argo AI at 3 Crossings as “Best Build-to Suite Office,” and M & J Wilkow/CenterSquare Investment Management for “Best Office Renovation” of 420 Boulevard of the Allies.
- Congrats to First Sip Brew Box, URA Micro-Loan recipient for its feature in Esquire as one of the best alcohol subscription boxes! This local, veteran-owned business run by Dennis Guy is pushing out creative products. In a recent collaboration with numerous PA breweries, including URA borrower Couch Brewery, First Sip Brew Box designed a limited-edition Veteran Brew Box. This effort helped to spread the word about PA Vets Memorial Day Brew, a Double IPA brewed by veteran-owned and operated breweries in support of military veterans.
- Congratulations to Diamonte Walker, URA director of Performance & Compliance and MWBE program officer, who was named one of Pennsylvania's 100 Influential African-American Women by Talk Magazine.
