Through targeted grants, the Greater Hill District Neighborhood Reinvestment Fund (GHDNRF) supports projects and initiatives that align with the Greater Hill District Master Plan and the Community Collaboration and Implementation Plan.

Current Initiatives

Currently, there are three grant programs supported by the GHDNRF:

  • Children, Youth and Education Initiatives Program aims to increase the capacity of community-based organizations to provide educational activities and experiences related to: STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), the arts (dance, music, visual arts etc.), athletics, cultural awareness, and the improvement of educational outcomes.

  • Workforce Development Initiatives Program aims to provide grant support for initiatives that prepare individuals for sustainable employment through training, education, and job placement services.

  • Development Initiatives Program aims to provide grant support for new construction and rehabilitation of commercial, mixed-use and housing development.

Applications are open until April 30, 2026 or until funding runs out, whichever is first. Submitted applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
