The Enterprise Zone Program (EZP) application opens on March 29, 2021 and runs through May 28, 2021. The project activity, expenditure of qualified funds, and project completion must occur during the 15 month period between July 1, 2021-September 30, 2022, or a formal request for extension must be submitted. If approved, the company is eligible for up to a 25 percent tax credit, with a maximum of $500,000 in credits for the EZP project. Credits may be sold or transferred. Eligible activities include: rehabilitation, expansion, building improvement, land improvement, engineering, architecture, and acquisition.
