URA and Local Workforce Partners to Present Free, Virtual Opportunity Fair Event

Webinar to be held this Thursday, January 14, via Zoom and Facebook

PITTSBURGH, PA (January 12, 2021) The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (URA) and local workforce partners will offer a free, virtual Opportunity Fair this Thursday, January 14, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Those attending will hear about job training, workforce programs, and expungement opportunities in Pittsburgh from Partner4Work, Year Up, Jewish Family and Community Services Career Development Center, Jasmine Nyree Campus, PA CareerLink®, Duquesne Law, and more. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions, connect directly with workforce service providers, and if eligible, apply for programs.

"We are excited to help kick off 2021 by hosting the Opportunity Fair," URA Chief Strategy Officer Tom Link said. "The URA is committed to connecting Pittsburghers with resources to help build their skill set and find quality employment opportunities. The Opportunity Fair is part of our work plan to ensure these connections take place."
