Familiarize yourself with the URA's disposition process. Whether you're an interested buyer or diligent citizen, it's always a good idea to stay informed.
The URA's disposition process is guided by both Redevelopment Laws and our overall commitment to creating jobs, expanding the City's tax base and enhancing Pittsburgh's neighborhoods. Buying property from the URA is much different than a regular transaction. The link below is a guide to our typical disposition process. If you are interested in purchasing a URA owned property, the URA's online database of properties allows you to browse available property, create an online account, and then submit an application. You must be current on all taxes, water and sewer charges for any property currently owned. Once we receive a written request, URA staff will contact you and begin a due diligence process on the property.
