The Housing Opportunity Fund (HOF) was created by the City of Pittsburgh to support the development and preservation of affordable and accessible housing. The 17-member Advisory Board is appointed by the Mayor to help oversee the Fund. 

Housing Opportunity Fund Advisory Board Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in a hybrid format. Members of the public may attend in-person at 412 Boulevard of the Allies or email HOF@ura.org to request virtual attendence. Meeting recordings are posted to City Channel Pittsburgh's YouTube.

Announcements

The August 2026 Housing Opportunity Fund Advisory Board Meeting is scheduled for August 4, 2026 at 2 p.m. Members of the public can attend the meeting in-person at 412 Boulevard of the Allies or visit City Channel Pittsburgh to watch online.

Public Comment Instructions

Members of the public may provide public comment on agenda items in one of the following formats: in-person, virtually via Zoom, or in written form.

Speakers are permitted a maximum of three minutes to address the Advisory Board.

To register to provide comment, please email HOF@ura.org or call 412-255-6694 by 4:00 p.m. on the Monday before the Advisory Board Meeting.  

  • In-Person: Register by emailing HOF@ura.org

  • Virtual: Register by emailing HOF@ura.org. Upon registration, you will be sent a Zoom Meeting link to participate.
     
  • Written: Submit written comments by emailing HOF@ura.org
